Getting started
For virtually
every form of motor sport you intend to pursue, your first step will be
to join a motor club which is recognised
by the MSA. For details
of your nearest club, contact the relevant Regional
Association. The association contact will be able to advise you of
the most suitable club, either because
that club meets near your home, or because it organises the type of events
which interest you. (NB - Kart racing has its
own associations)
Do not under-estimate the importance of
your club: its members can call upon a wealth of experience to help and
encourage your early days of competition. Remember also to enjoy the social
side of membership - most clubs excel in this respect!
