Thank-You!The organisers of the inaugural Roger Albert Clark Rally would like to express their sincere thanks to the following people: - The Competitors, who put on a superb show, even those that unfortunately had to retire from the rally, but who then came out on the Trophy rallies to continue to entertain the spectators. The Marshals, 1200 of you signed on and all did a sterling job in somewhat trying conditions, we thank you for your hard work and enthusiasm. The highest praise for the marshals must come from the competitors themselves, one of whom stated that ‘All the marshalling was spot-on there, they all seemed to know what they were doing. Not only that but they all seemed to be enjoying themselves as well!’ The Spectators, who also braved the elements. In traditional style sleeping in your cars and re-discovering parts of the country that you have not visited for 20 years! This year, there were more spectators than we possibly expected, but there were no problems as all of you obeyed the marshals instructions. All the spectators that we spoke to were enjoying watching rallying as it should be. Supporter’s Club Members, during the last 12 months you supported the rally by joining the Supporter’s Club. Thank-you for your valuable contribution to the running of this event we hope you enjoyed it and thought that your contribution was worthwhile. At the beginning, we promised you Roger Albert Clark Rally bags. We are aware that only some of you have got these at Don Valley Stadium. Consequently we will be sending these out to you over the next few weeks. As Colin stated during the proceedings at the prize presentation, the organisation of this event overcame many obstacles, both financial and administrational, the organisers believe it was worth it. We hope you do too and hope that the event we provided lived up to your expectations. We look forward to meeting you all again next year. And talking of next year, the dates for your diary are: 19,20,21 & 22 NOVEMBER 2005 May we say again a very large and heartfelt THANK YOU for your support of the above event.
