Network Q RAC Rally 23-25 November 1997 | ![]() ![]() |
Network Q, which sponsors the RAC Rally for the fourth successive year in 1997, is the UK's leading used car brand. With over 400 dealers throughout the country, Network Q sells over 90,000 cars each year. Network Q's involvement with the event goes beyond just being a title sponsor, for it supplies around 70 pristine vehicles to oil the cogs of this massive sporting occasion.
Before a vehicle is accepted for Network Q, it must meet strictly specified standards, and then undergoes an unprecedented 114-point service. Each vehicle comes with 12 months' unlimited mileage warranty and roadside assistance cover and, for added peace of mind, Network Q will offer to exchange the vehicle for another if it develops a fault within the first 30 days. The highlights of Network Q's 'package' are:Network Q was launched in October 1990, with 45 dealers in the Midlands. From those pioneering 45, Network Q has grown to its current size of over 400 outlets. Although all Network Q dealers are Vauxhall dealers, Network Q sells other makes, and most popular cars can be found in stock.
Network Q found an obvious partner in the RAC Rally, as John Rees, Network Q's General Manager, explains: "As well as being Britain's largest sporting occasion, the RAC Rally is steeped in tradition and history. The synergy between the event's appeal to the general public and our own appeal to a broad spectrum of people makes it an ideal sponsorship opportunity for Network Q. Furthermore, you only have to look at the number of different makes of vehicles involved in the rally to see its attraction to us. We have been proud of our association with this event, since becoming its sponsor in 1993."
