We have been very pleased with the huge response generated by our web site over recent years. We can now boast 10,000 visitors per calendar month and a total of around 9,000 links, making the UKMotorsport website amongst the largest and most widely-used source of information on Motorsport in the UK. The size and popularity of the site means that you, our customers, gain from having links and banners but has resulted in substantial increases in hosting and maintenance costs. Further, this growth requires us to redevelop the site to improve navigation, ease of use and “look and feel” to ensure visitors find the information they require. Planning for this project is in hand and we aim to put up trial pages for visitor comment over the coming weeks. We would particularly welcome your input and suggestions on the new pages.. We are very keen to retain your custom and to maintain the popularity of the site for your benefit. However, the huge amount of redevelopment work to be undertaken means that we will be forced to place a small charge for the links and banners provided in the future. We have decided that, for our existing customers, we will give a 50% discount for retaining your links or banners for the next twelve months, which will take us through the redevelopment period and into the upgraded site. New customers to the site will be charged the full price. Both sets of pricing are set out on our pricing page (link). We recognise that not-for-profit motoring organisations, clubs, drivers et cetera are less able to afford this kind of expenditure and so we have arranged greatly discounted prices for these customers. UKMotorsport has retained the services of motorsport marketing specialists Global Sports Development Ltd (GSD) to operate our new system and all transactions will be operated via GSD.
